Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Consumer Electronics Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative hardware products from concept to mass production. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery that meets market and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. End-to-End Project Management 1) Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects through planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure. 2) Develop detailed project plans (WBS), schedules, budgets, and resource plans; obtain stakeholder approval. 3) Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and changes; implement mitigation strategies. 2. Cross-Functional Leadership 1) Lead and guide the interaction for core teams (Hardware, Software, Mechanical Engineering, Testing, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, Sales). 2) Define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables, foster collaboration and communication. 3) Facilitate project meetings (kick-offs, weekly syncs, milestone reviews) to track progress and drive decisions. 4) Manage project scope rigorously to prevent creep and align objectives. 5) Monitor critical path and milestones; address deviations proactively to ensure on-time delivery. 3. Quality & Delivery Assurance 1) Collaborate with Quality teams to ensure compliance with standards (performance, reliability, regulatory: CE/FCC/UL). 2) Oversee test validation phases (EVT/DVT/PVT) and manufacturing readiness. 3) Coordinate with Supply Chain/Manufacturing teams for smooth pilot runs and mass production ramp-up. 4. Stakeholder Communication 1) Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, and progress (incl. executive updates). 2) Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts proactively. 3) Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements 1) Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering (EE, CE, ME), Project Management, or related field. 2) Fluency in English (written and spoken). 3) Required 5+ years of project management experience in consumer electronics, with **≥2 full hardware product lifecycles** (concept to mass production). 4) Proven knowledge of NPI processes, supply chain management, manufacturing (EMS/JDM/ODM), and quality systems. 5) Experience managing integrated hardware/software, Preferred Domain expertise: Smart Home, Appliances. 6) Proficiency with MS Project or equivalent PPM tools. 7) Solid understanding of electronics (PCB, RF, power management, mechanical design, DFM). 8) Leadership & influence to drive cross-functional teams without direct authority. 9) Exceptional communication (written/verbal) and conflict-resolution abilities. 10) Analytical problem-solving under pressure. 11) Detail-oriented, results-driven, and proactive.
