Job Purpose:
Independently develop the mechanical aspects of complete products for PSS APAC ranging from a loudspeaker driver to a complete sound solution.

Key areas of accountability:
· Design and development of the automotive loudspeakers/products according to customer specifications and within the timeframe of the project planning.
· Responsible for the in time delivery of the required documentation of mechanical during development & report project development results and outputs to the global project manager.
· Interact and communicate with acoustical & electrical development engineers and global project team members when designing the mechanical aspects of loudspeakers and sound product.
· Interfacing with external suppliers on technical issues to create a pro-active involvement of the suppliers.
· To release mechanical parts and to ensure that technical specification are met.

Job scope:
Work under minimum supervising and most tasks can be finished independently with relevant knowledge. Works require initiation and cases can be different. Interaction with both internal and external parties and communication will reach levels from junior employee to senior management. Work requires independent decision making and the decision would directly influence product design

Qualification:
1. Academic/Professional Qualification:
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Working Experience:
· minimum 6 years’ experience in product design of automotive loudspeakers or products
· Using Pro-Engineer Wildfire or Catia.
· Knowledge in using Pro-Interlink/PDM will have advantage.
· Knowledge in using UG other modules such as Cabling, Tolerance and Mechanical will have advantage also.
3. Expertise/Skills:
· Must have knowledge and experience of plastic tooling, metal stamping, plastic injection moldings, cable, foam, label printing technique and manufacturing processes pertinent to product design.
· Must have knowledge in DFMEA, GD&T and Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis. Knowledge in SQC will be added advantage.
· Have good analytical skills on product and hands on at solving technical problem with Quality Tools.
· Hands on part approval process.
4. Language skills:
· Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) and Mandarin
