Job Purpose:
Act as leader driving facilitator, lead multifunctional team for the success of projects. Ensure the development and industrialization of new products on-time, on-budget and on-quality, own overall project responsibility.
Key areas of accountability:
1. Lead teams of development, costing, purchasing, quality, and supply chain along with marketing and manufacturing to bring new product from concept into mass production on-time, on-budget and on-quality and own overall project responsibility.
2. Responsible for the whole process of project management from Request for Quotation to the phase of mass production.
3. Bridging global cooperation with multifunctional teams in different location for assigned projects. Clearly communicate with customers and corporate global teams on product specification, quality expectation, timeline etc..
4.Develop and maintain a detailed master project schedule with team input, plan and ensure resources are available for the projects. Drive and control project progress and ensure each stage is aligned with the plan and targets.
5. Lead the team on evaluations of project risks, supplier base, design feasibility, process and overall schedule and resources. Make decisions based on business program needs and team input and judgement of priority.
6. Lead milestone meeting with *** members during the product cycle, drive problems to be solved efficiently.
7. Provide coaching to team members on problem solving and competency improvement in the process.
8. Coordinate and drive technical solutions for problems in mass production phase.
9. Responsible for the continuous improvement of product development procedures.
Job scope:
Independently manage multiple and complex projects and work with people across at all levels of the organization and external parties. Decisions have directly impacts to the success of projects. Tasks can be very different and require prompt and accurate judgement.
Qualification
1. Bachelor degree above. Acoustic, EE, ME and computer science degree preferred
2. Minimum 5 years life-cycle project management experience in the mid to high volume products industry, R&D design background preferred.
3. Excellent PM skills on planning, reporting, presenting and decision making.
4. Strong business sense including contract, negotiation, supplier management capability
5. Global exposure in multinational companies
6. Language skills: Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) and Fluent in Mandarin
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with people across at all levels of the organization.
8. Logical thinking and demonstrated competencies on handling multiple task
9. Results oriented, analytical, systematic, mature, proactive, and passionate, open to change
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage supplier (on-site) to ensure supplier produce PSS product according to PSS requirements;
2. Ensure implementation and execution of supplier committed action, and verify the effective ness
3. Drive quality improvement with supplier in the entire process
4. Issue and review supplier 8D
5. Execute failure analysis for quality issue and follow up the effectiveness of FAR and 8D;
6. Deploying preventive methods, maintain effective quality feedback from supplier
7. Monitor supplier quality performance
8. Working with other departments to drive process and product quality improvement
Requirements:
1. Academic/Professional Qualification: University Degree in Electronics /Mechanical.
2. Working Experience: Min 8 yrs experience, preferably in *** product products, Other electronic products can be considered.
3. Expertise/Skills: Familiar with automotive requirements like AIAG 5 core tools,TS16949,and automotive OEM specific requirements. Good in quality tools like 5 Whys and 8D. Good analytical skill (statistical skill).
4. Language skills: Mandarin (both spoken and written) ; English (written & spoken).
5. Personal Attributes: Aggressive, assertive, good in follow up. Able to work independently under pressure. Detail and hard working.
