To support the Procurement Head in purchasing activities.
Procurement Cost Management: Evaluate, analyze, negotiate and propose recommendation to manage best total cost at responsible suppliers.
To negotiate and when necessary place purchase orders, ensuring delivery promises are maintained by suppliers.
Ability in Supplier contract negotiation, implementation & management. Obtain ‘best cost’ from suppliers under accountable management.
Work with the cross-functional team (Sales, Strategic Procurement, Technical, Quality) to communicate & improve as required delivery dates. Provides professional, qualified services to subsidiaries/ customers especially on procurement field;
Maintain and promote sound relationships with suppliers and customers
Deal with supplier enquires and acknowledgments
Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement.
Manage suppliers, cost, and delivery performance.
Other strategic initiatives or special projects assigned by direct manager 2. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years of procurement experience
Manufacturing experience & awareness
Excellent Inter-personal skills to build relationship internally & externally
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong communicator to both internal and external stakeholders
Cross-functional business team environment experience preferred
Proven ability to self-manage & deliver on time to budget
Team work
Good at English Reading and writing, fluent speaking is a preference.
