Plan and organize the production activities of the plant to ensure that the required products are manufactured in time to meet the customer demands
Control the use of all resources, i.e., ***, machine, and materials to ensure that production costs are minimized and efficiencies are maintained
Maintain high quality standards in all phases of production activity – raw materials, work in process, and finished goods
Ensure that all production activities are done in accordance with health and safety procedures
Maintain high morale among all employees by promoting and enforcing effective human relations practices
Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures
Monitor the performance of employees and take appropriate action regarding promotions, demotions, transfers, leaves, and disciplinary actions
Promote cross training across all areas of production to enhance efficiency and flexibility
Enforce the continuous flow of production from start to completion, consistent to “Lean Manufacturing” methodology with a focus on Cost Savings
Provide leadership in the assigned area to ensure that all employees follow the correct procedures in reporting material and labour transactions in Vantage
Recommend training programs to upgrade the skills of employees under direct supervision
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification
5 years of progressive experience in the store fixture industry or related industry that involves custom metal and wood operations
Highly organized with the tenacity to succeed in a constant high-pressure environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead, motivate and influence people at all levels internally and externally
