? Assist in the operation of associated equipment and resources involved in the capture and editing of digital video and audio content.
? Assist with coordinating the booking of the digital video and audio content capture and production facilities by clients and ensure associated equipment and resources are prepared and ready for use when required.
? Maintain the digital video and audio content capture and production facilities and ensure associated equipment and resources remain in good working order, organising repairs where necessary.
? Contribute to digital video and audio content capture and production facility inventory records and ensure the security of associated equipment and resources.
? Liaise and collaborate with Centre for Educational Technology colleagues to promote best practices.
? Engage in development and training activities to adapt the focus of the role, where appropriate, to meet the changing needs of the University.
? Carry out any other duties as required, commensurate with the role position and as required to develop the role in line with changes to ongoing University strategy.
This is a full-time role and the working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm with an hour for lunch. However, aspects of the role may sometimes require the post holder to work unsociable hours.

? An understanding of the role of multimedia content resources in a Higher Education context
? Experience of working on commercial multimedia development projects
? Knowledge of 3D modelling software e.g. Cinema 4D

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
? Educated to Bachelors degree level or equivalent, preferably in a field related to visual arts/film and TV/media production.
? Knowledge of camera, sound recording and lighting hardware and associated multimedia production techniques
? Knowledge of professional grade video and audio editing and post-production software e.g. Final Cut, Logic Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Adobe After effects, etc.
? Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies and processes
? Excellent communication and document writing skills
? Strong ability in spoken and written English
