Tasks and Responsibilities: a. Value stream design; Drive system-CIP projects to achieve sustainable productivity and quality improvement 1. Responsible for value stream design and mapping of SZ plant 2. Lead CIP projects, such as production capacity extension and strategic projects to improve the business process;
b. Technical capacity planning of Suzhou plant 1. Create clarity of plant technical capacity base on process and part number level 2. Investment for capacity increase base on customer volume forecast and CT analysis 3. Strategic investment planning (e.g. new manufacturing process) 4. Responsible for maintenance and improve of production technical standards, such as Cycle time, tooling/machine/program applicability on process level 5. Systematic Cycle Time reduction of manufacturing processes
c. Plan and implement process automation roadmap to continuously improve quality cost and delivery 1. Conception and development of automation project milestone with clear productivity and quality improvement target 2. Define and implementation individual projects together with automation supplier to achieve goals of productivity and quality improvement
d. Deploy data collection and management system to visualize and improve plant-level quality and productivity performance 1. Deploy data collection system to visualize plant performance in KPI charts 2. Design digital solution for shopfloor management, e.g. E-TPM, checklist, C/O… 3. Development and optimization of plant quality control and trackability system
e. Build-up function of NPI and Sample shop for pre-series production 1. Define and lead NPI pilot projects to build-up technical competence 2. Build-up the function of local sample shop (for C- and D-sample building) to support local product modification project
Qualifcation: 1. Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or relevant disciplines. MBA is desired. 2. Experience 3. Proven leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, EMS or automotive industry, experience of lean manufacturing or engineering, Multi-national enterprise is a plus 4. Project experience of production capacity extension and New Product Introduction 5. Hands-on experience as process optimization 6. Production capacity and investment planning
Knowledge/Skill 1. High level knowledge of industrial engineering management e.g. Technical capacity calculation, Time study methodology such as MTM and REFA; 2. High level knowledge of industrial engineering and operations management e.g. FPY, OEE, FMEA, CP 3. Operation excellence program (lean, 6-Sigma Black belt) 4. Process automation and process improvement experience, understanding of SMT, THT, welding process is a plus; Data engineering (Data collection, transmission and data analysis 5. Project management skills and experience (PMP is a plus) 6. MES system 7. K/T Problem solving skills 8. Intercultural communication skills 9. Fluent English in spoken and written
