KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Develop and deliver profitable new business ? Ensure that Unipart is visible within the market and that our brand is strengthened through the services that we provide and the clients that we win ? Expand the range of services provided and attendant Unipart profits to new and prospective clients ? Manage relationships and communications with prospective automotive clients, with a strategic focus on growth and service expansion ? Be responsible for Business Development proposals, intelligent tenders, bids & RFQ response ? Plan market research activity ( industry / customer & competitor awareness) ? Industry event participation ? Organize local marketing material ? Deliver appropriate social media Business Development activity in line with Group policy ? Promote market awareness of Unipart’s brand, company culture and philosophy ? Ensure that contractual obligations are understood and correctly considered within our bids ? Responsible for CRM system development and set up sales target and performance review process. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS ? More than 10 years’ experience in Business Development role ? Proven Business Development capability with consistent new business wins ? Experience in value-added/solution-based sales is a must ? At least 5 years team management experiences. ? Experience of logistics / supply chain background with understanding of operational processes in a logistics environment. ? Knowledge of the automotive sector ? Good understanding for how warehouses and supply chain operate, their key challenges and objectives ? Ability to present well to various stakeholders ? Chinese and English language fluency ? Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential ? Flexible to travel per business requirement and accept challenges and changes
