Key Accountabilities: ? Administration and support of a PLM System (Teamcenter experience required) ? Administration and support of multi-CAD systems such as but not limited to Creo, CATIA V5, NX, Mentor Graphics, Altium designer in a Windows environment (experience with other MCAD/ECAD tool is plus) ? Work with our Electric, Electronic & Software Teams and support the implementation and standardized of our new Electrical Design Framework ? Administration and support of CAE applications in a LINUX HPC & Windows workstation environment ? Project Management ? Cost Cell responsibility ? Expertise with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) concepts ? A solid understanding of R&D Design and Release processes ? Define and continuously develop the CAE and PLM architecture ensuring alignment with the overall IT Strategy and Business Objectives ? Facilitate testing - create test cases, complete system/integration testing, facilitate user acceptance testing ? Stay current with technology and determining the impact of hardware and/or software upgrades on new and existing applications ? Ability to prioritize and execute tasks ? Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language ? Provide technical leadership and direction on assigned projects ? Understand IT processes and work within designated guidelines ? Strong customer-service orientation ? Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to details ? Good teamwork spirit ? Qualifications & Requirements: ? A degree in mechanical engineering or computer science or in a related field ? Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of CAx/PLM software solutions ? Experience in Electric, Electronic & Software tools (ALM, E-CAD, etc.) and processes (SPICE) is a must ? Experience in mechanical design and drafting methodologies is a plus ? Minimum 3 years of previous in CAx/PLM administration experience in the Automotive Industry ? Ability to work with minimal supervision; demonstrate initiative and make suggestions for departmental process/procedure improvements ? Strong inter-personal and communication skills; capable of training users Engineering Systems applications, making presentations to an internal audience and writing basic documentation ? Good skills with Windows commands/utilities ? Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment ? Good written and spoken English skills
