Position Overview Ensure the accuracy/reliability in recording and managing expenditure and accounts payable transactions. Comply with accounting and reporting guidelines. Comply with applicable policies, procedures and other regulations. Investigate account discrepancies; prepare and adjust journal entries, prepare necessary reports.
As AP accountant, You Will Safety and Compliance --Communicate with internal site finance/purchase or external companies to solve the finance issues timely. --Keep the invoice safety and documented once finish 3-way match. --Review and monitor requests for payment from vendors, employee claims and intercompany transactions; --Reconcile the statement with supplier, especially key vendor monthly in order to eliminate the variance before booking. --Timely and thorough follow up on all invoice discrepancies, and differences between invoiced and received transactions (GRIR); --Ensure that all internal controls are kept current and followed in every case Quality of Service and Delivery --Process invoices and book AP in an accurate and timely manner. --Clear AP before passing the requests for payment processing. --Prepare AP aging analysis and other statistic reports within the required schedule to support decision-making. --Actively participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring compliance with the corporate and statutory requirements --Provide support in external and internal audits with accurate transaction data. Cash/Cost/Inventory --Assist management to identify potential areas for improvement, --Review the overdue payment with block or installment, arrange the release process to of those qualified payment in order to maintain the reputation of company. --Update inventory report on time. --Ad hoc report & analysis as required.
You should have College degree or above major in Finance or Accounting Minimum 1-2 years relevant working experience Knowledge of ERP system especially SAP related process is preferred Good communication skills and team-work spirit The Ability to work under pressure
