Missions:
1. In charge of realization of physicochemical analysis requested by internal customers (technical team from industrial activities).
2. Advise and guide internal customers if needed towards the analysis techniques / methods best suited to their materials analysis issues.
3. Responsible for the complete realization of the assigned analysis requests: estimation of cost and delivery time, planning and realization of analysis, writing of the report, presentation/interpretation to the customer, proposition of amelioration directions.
4. Interact with internal customers to collect and address thermal and chemical analysis technology needs. Develop thermal and chemical analysis methods in the form of projects.
5. Carrying out a scientific and technical watch in the domain of physicochemical analysis, learn about existing techniques to make improvements and look for new features (biblio, internet ...).
6. Participate in the life of the laboratory.
7. Research and set up external services and collaborations.
Requirements:
1. Master’s degree or equivalent or above in material science and engineering, chemical technology. Strong technical background in physicochemical analysis of elastomer / polymer / composite materials.
2. Research/project experience in a multidisciplinary environment including morphology, thermal, chemical and physicochemical analysis of elastomer / polymer / composite material preferred.
3. Autonomous, rigorous, proactive, with an ability to work in teams in a multidisciplinary environment. Willingness to adapt/learn the new project/technology. Customer/result orientation.
