The Technical Product Manager (TPM) Role is responsible to execute Lifecycle Management activities for High Voltage Generator components manufactured in Suzhou. The TPM is a key interface to OEM customers based in China, providing technical customer support, and conducting failure analysis on field returns of such components.
You are responsible for : The TPM is responsible for product quality KPI's, initiating and executing continuous improvement projects, representing his product portfolio towards internal stakeholders as well as externally towards OEM customers.
Multiple OEM customers are headquartered in China. The TPM is a key contact person for these customers to take care that customer needs are well understood and are translated into appropriate actions to ensure a positive customer experience with the related high voltage components.
The TPM is acting in close alignment with various cross functional roles, e.g. the OEM Program Manager, Product Owner, Product Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Manager as well as multiple production functions.
The role includes complaint handling, risk management, obsolescence management, ensuring product supply in accordance with regulatory standards as well as the company quality and product safety policy.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in an electrical engineering domain, e.g. Electronics or Power Electronics with 2+yrs of working experience
Good theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical engineering, especially in the field of high voltage and power electronics
Experience and knowledge with electronic circuit simulation tools (e.g. PSpice, MathCad)
Experience in design of power electronic units for higher frequencies and knowledge of resonant power inverters.
Knowledge in EMC.
