* Act as liaison between markets and Supply Chain function to gain and provide market insights as well as understand, challenge and validate demand signals and align with respective business plans and serve as a senior advisor to management with extended expert knowledge in the area of responsibility * Build connection to assigned markets, establish and conduct S&OP structure together with other Market liaisons, Insights & Demand and Global Product Planning teams * Conduct long-term-planning together with Market Liaisons, Insights & Demand, Global Product Planning and Global Operations. Align long-term product planning with the respective commercial business plans of the markets. * Close potential gaps in transparency in the case of a critical bottleneck situation for the designated markets and ensure timely information to affiliates and customers. * Provide input on Supply Chain Network Design decisions for the designated markets by anticipating organization and industry issues and recommend improvements to processes or services. * Deliver insights in market dynamics for demand, business plan assumptions and future commercial focus to enable informed decisions Function requires the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, SCM, Finance, Economics or corresponding business experience (master preferred) * 7+ years in finance, supply chain and/or commercial functions * System thinker with proven track record of building bridges across organizations * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; experience with interacting and presenting to senior leadership. * Curiosity, creative mindset and collaborative approach * Strong knowledge of the market landscape and business trends * Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data-driven insights * Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Role’s most important individual tasks:
* Drive improvements to demand forecast accuracy and if applicable optimization of inventories across scope of responsibility in collaboration with peer network -- 25% * Ensure continuous monitoring of volume developments of designated markets including but not limited to business plan based on commercial progress -- 25% * Reflect demand impact of major strategic commercial projects or regulatory changes and the to be expected consequences on the corresponding markets -- 20% * Proactive contributions to the long-term planning process and be the (co-)lead in local/ regional S&OP meetings as needed -- 10% * Actively manage transparency needs of stakeholders in case of a critical bottleneck situation that impacts the assigned markets -- 10% * Leads large/cross-functional teams, projects or initiatives across areas and impacts the direction and resource allocation for programs -- 10% 我们是谁
