Master’s degree or above, Thermal Engineering/Vehicle Engineering/Mechanical electric Engineering background. 2. 10+ years’ experience of engineering product (System & component: Compressor, heat exchanger, expansion valve, valve …) development on vehicle thermal energy management system or related products, familiar with coolant and refrigerant System & components, experience in EV TMS module and component development and proficiency in system working principle including control architecture is preferred. 3. Proficiency in heat transfer/resistance, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics and others, strong theoretical analysis & problem-solving ability, with 1D thermal network analysis/calculation ability and thermal components selection calculation principle is preferred. 4. Proficiency in vehicle thermal system boundary interface including Temperature & Pressure & Mechanics (like vibration & material profile). 5. Proficiency in the methods and tools of system engineering, familiar with process and key notes of V-Model & automotive system architecture: -DFMEA, boundary diagram, risk control matrix, master specification. -Product development process, including the roles and competencies of design, calculation, testing and design review. -Problem solving & design improvement. -Bench mark analysis and new technologies research. 6. Good documentation ability and engineering knowledge mindset. 7. Good communication, teamwork, and ownership responsibility. 8. Highly self-driven and self-lead Passion for innovation, research and problem solving, with engineering risk identification & control mindset. 9. Job Description: 1. Comprehend the development direction of the thermal management system of new energy vehicles, evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the technology from a system perspective (customer demand), and following the development process to identify technical opportunity by evaluation from engineering point of view. 2. Work with Marketing team and application team together to understand and analyze customer requirements, transform into product technical specification combining internal product definition and output product requirement documents, Leading teamwork from engineering perspective evaluation of product working principle and critical technical challenges & function review. Collecting marketing benchmark samples and leading the benchmark analysis combine defined functions to evaluate product value proposition and getting gate review approval as technical presenter. 3. Based on defined product requirements, tear down and assign product requirements and interface to different engineering team members, organize exchange to clarify task accordingly. As expert role in thermal leading the technical discussion and evaluate all thermal technical concept from engineering point of view from architecture building phase leading design review, risk control, etc., to ensure the design process is followed and driven by product working principle and development process. 4. Direct different engineering team from system perspective for testing to capture product weakness and strength for design improvement and verification documents output. Tracking any happened and potential failure model analysis, leading the problem analysis review and escalate all critical bottleneck issues to kill an unsuccessful development at early time. Leading the product development in thermal area improvement for a highly competitive value target. 5. Direct/leading and evaluate analysis and other inputs from SME’s and XF team members by advanced Materials, fluid science, Reliability, etc., support improvement from Purchasing/Supplier management. 6. Employ expert level problem solving and root cause analysis capabilities to accurate resolve problems and lead technical team for improvement. 7. Support the organization as a subject matter expert on important technical matters within areas of expertise as needed. 8. As thermal area matter expert to support any application side customer interface as technical window. 9. Present product development state of work for any global exchange and report as technical presenter, monitor different samples building and checking feedback for different use. 10. Contribute to innovation and new product development from the view of system application.
