‐ Lead R&D projects for developing new pump systems and technologies while enhancing existing product lines. ‐ Formulate product specifications, technical solutions, and architectural designs of pump systems. ‐ Create and revise detailed technical drawings for pump parts and assemblies utilizing CAD software, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and project criteria. ‐ Perform calculations and simulations leveraging expertise in pump principles and using CFD software to predict pump behavior under various operating conditions and to optimize performance. ‐ Engage in hands-on prototyping, including the assembly and disassembly of pump models for iterative testing and improvement. ‐ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and quality assurance, to align R&D activities with business objectives. ‐ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and R&D personnel. ‐ Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards impacting pump manufacturing. ‐ Coordinate with suppliers and external research institutions to source materials and foster partnerships. ‐ Maintain and update material and BOM data within the SAP system, ensuring the integrity and uniformity of data is preserved. ‐ Document all phases of R&D process and prepare technical reports, patent applications, and publications when necessary. ‐ Drive continuous improvement efforts and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality. ‐ Manage compliance with all relevant local and international regulations regarding pump engineering.
Qualifications:
‐ Bachelor’s degree or above in Fluid Machinery, Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, or a related field. ‐ Minimum of 10 years of experience in pump industry R&D, with a successful track record of leading large-scale projects. ‐ Profound knowledge of kinetic pump design principles, materials engineering, and fluid mechanics. ‐ Good understanding of electric motor systems and control mechanisms relevant to pump technology. ‐ Proficiency with SolidWorks, Fluent, AutoCAD, and Office software tools. ‐ Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a strong innovation mindset. ‐ Ability to work in a multicultural environment and communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English. ‐ Familiarity with the regulatory and certification process in China and globally.
