The job in more details… - Customer Service: Prove excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, such as preparing sales reports, managing customer databases, and maintaining sales records.
- Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This may involve entering orders into the system, coordinating with our various manufacturing partners, and tracking order status.
- Sales Documentation: Prepare sales-related documents such as quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and contracts. Ensure accuracy and proper documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Sales Communication: Assist with sales communication by responding to customer inquiries and forwarding relevant information to the appropriate salesperson or team.
- Sales Reporting: Assist in generating sales reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to the sales team. This may involve tracking sales performance, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying trends or areas for improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team and other relevant departments to coordinate sales activities, provide support where needed, and ensure a seamless customer experience. This may involve attending sales meetings, participating in training sessions, and sharing feedback or suggestions.
- Shipment Coordination: Coordinate the transportation of goods and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery. This involves communicating with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors to arrange pickups, deliveries, and tracking shipments.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipping documents, such as bills of lading, customs forms, and delivery receipts. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, customs regulations, and industry standards.
- Cost Control: Assist in controlling logistics costs by comparing carrier quotes, analyzing transportation rates, optimizing shipping routes, and consolidating shipments when possible. Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to improve efficiency.
- Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across borders. This may involve preparing and submitting customs documentation, coordinating with customs brokers, and staying updated on changes in import/export regulations.
