Key Service Requirements: 61 Hands-on experience and technical knowledge in any of the following areas: CNC, stamping, modeling, assembly, coating, fixture/cutter/automation design 61 Other process knowledge in 3C industry is preferred 61 3+ years of relevant working experience 61 Familiar with GD&T, DOE, SPC 61 On-site build support; have to work more from factories 61 Ability to learn, implement and use Statistical Process Control to make data driven decisions 61 Ability and willingness to work independently and travel frequently (mainly in Asia) 61 A standout teammate and self starter with innovation, integrity and attention to details 61 Good written and oral interpersonal skills, fluent in English 61 BS in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, and/or relevant manufacturing work experience Service Description: 61 Lead the development work of multi-type metal components, plastic parts, CNC manufacturing, surface treatment, assembly or chemical treatment of products 61 Design the CNC, surface treatment, Assembly process based on cosmetic and drawing requirement, to be pioneering bringing up the new metal material, surface finish mechanism, mapping out process flow, selecting processing equipment, designing corresponding fixtures/slurries/wheels/sandpapers/magazines/trays, initiating DOEs to find out the best machine setups, cutter materials and coating process, mechanical polishing path and parameters, and finalizing the process solution from prototype stage to mass production stage, and finalizing the process solution 61 Be deeply involving in working on multiple customized processes in the scope of: CNC, Polishing, PVD, Chemical treatment, Sand Blasting, Anodizing, Super clean, Laser etching, Automation etc 61 Work cross functionally with Product Design Engineering to assess product features for manufacturability, and recommend capable production processes and equipment 61 Work closely with Cupertino-based MDEs in the development of above said processes 61 Work with Global Supply Managers to develop new equipment from RFQ through factory implementation, and manufacture and deliver material to downstream supply chain nodes on time and on cost 61 Work with Manufacturing Quality Engineers to drive yield improvement through analysis of part quality, defect pareto, and SPC 61 A heavy emphasis will be on working with suppliers to define and refine mechanical tooling and fixtures, and establishing process capability and readiness 61 Coordination of activities and direction through clear communication between the Asia and US-based teams, and vendors is a necessity
