61 Assist with translating the University’s brand strategy into video and multimedia communication through compelling visual stories and innovative visual concepts; 61 Assist with planning and producing video projects that convey XJTLU’s distinctive strengths using creativity, initiative, judgment, and technical skill; 61 Help develop and implement treatments, storyboards, scripts and pre-production plans including coordination and scheduling; 61 Help plan and deliver elements of a shoot, including lighting, audio, and image capture - from concept/creative direction to completion including video photography, audio recording; 61 With direction from colleagues, implement post-production editing, final production, and/or exporting to final formats; 61 Help develop and mentor schemes to involve XJTLU students in “crowd-sourcing” content through contests and student-led or faculty-led projects; 61 Support distribution to media channels as requested and necessary; 61 Continuously develop professional capabilities by staying current with best practices, new/emerging technologies, and visual media techniques; 61 Maintain ongoing, positive dialogue during creative development with supervisors and internal customers; 61 Work to ensure delivery of project production and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment; 61 Assist with the supervision of project work of interns/trainees and members of the Student Media Centre; 61 Help support UMC’s sponsorship of student clubs by offering workshops and training; 61 Maintain all video equipment and assist in procurement of equipment and accessories as required and agreed by supervisor; and 61 Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
