Roles & Responsibilities: Role overview The role provides administrative support for the branding and marketing of XJTLU AI Industry Innovation Alliance (AIIA), as well as the branding of Academy of Artificial Intelligence (AOA). The role reports directly to the Director for Administration (Centralise). Responsibilities 1. Assist with Director for Administration (Centralised) with plan, develop and implement the AIIA's reputation and recognition; 2. Assist in brand promotion and construction through product design (e.g. brochures, flyers), website content and main the operation of AIIA’s media channel; 3. Support activities engagement for AIIA and AOA through operation of marketing platforms covering Chinese social media (e.g. Weixin, Red book); 4. Assist to generate activities to raise domestic brand awareness for AIIA and AOA among target audience and key influencers; 5. Create and edit content to support online and offline events for AIIA and AOA; 6. Ensure a positive public image and consistent media coverage of AIIA initiatives/ programmes/ actions and objectives; 7. Monitor and analyze brand performance and communications impact; 8. Perform other relevant responsibilities as required. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media and communications, advertising, journalism or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience; master’s degree in relevant field is preferred; 2. At least 2+ years of experience in marketing or public relations managerial roles, higher education sector or AI industry related work experience is preferred; 3. Proven content strategy and project management experience relating to social media; 4. Excellent copywriting and editing skills in Chinese and English; Overseas education background and work experience is preferred; 5. Sound understanding of marketing principles; 6. Exceptional marketing and collaborative skills; 7. Minimum of two years of professional experience in marketing in an institutional, corporate or professional service setting; experience in a higher education setting is preferred; 8. Able to work occasionally on evenings/weekends for special events or project deadlines. Required Competencies and Skills: 1.
