Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who has hands on experience of a supplier quality engineering, project management and also production processes optimization experience (Onsite Gemba) to join our team. As a project manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the specified timeline, budget, and scope. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. As a Gemba Improvement Specialist you will be responsible for facilitating continuous improvement initiatives by working directly with the value chain & operational level where value is created, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities (What will you do): 83 Project planning, execution, stakeholder management, team leadership, quality assurance, documentation & reporting. 83 Conduct regular Gemba walks to observe operations, identify inefficiencies, and uncover improvement opportunities. 83 Train and coach employees at all levels on Gemba principles, Lean methodologies, and problem-solving techniques. 83 Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives, and identify areas for further optimization. 83 Document and communicate best practices, lessons learned, and success stories to share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. 83 Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. 83 Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. 83 Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. 83 Maintain comprehensive project documentation. 83 Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation as required. 83 Conduct on-site audits and assessments of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. 83 Establish incoming inspection procedures and protocols to verify the quality and conformance of materials and components. 83 Participate in design reviews, supplier meetings, and project teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle. 83 Implement Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction. 83 Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications. Qualifications (What you should have): 1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. PMP certification is preferred. 2. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). 3. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or operational environment, preferably in a role involving project management, process improvement & Lean implementation. 4. Solid understanding for certain commodity including material and process. Plastic knowledge is preferred. 5. Knowledge of BOM cost structure and Should Cost. Experience in cost reduction program is a plus. 6. Strong understanding of Lean principles, Kaizen methodologies, and Gemba philosophy. 7. Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement, analyze complex problems, and develop practical solutions. 8. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence individuals at all levels of the organization. 9. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. 10. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related methodologies is a plus. 11. Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
