The Systems Analyst’s role is to be responsible for the activities like analysis and development, implementation, modification and installation of ERP and other systems. Draw up manuals and update them as well as technical specifications, testing plans, etc. Take in charge of recommending, designing, testing and implementing systems upgrades and improvements. Works with other staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves user complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software user manuals. Demonstrates and may deliver training on the software. Essential functions of the job (responsibilities): Assist with assessing and strengthening the organization’s security posture using existing company frameworks and tools Strategy & Planning - Assist in the analysis and development, implementation, modification and installation, of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. - Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues. - Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems. - Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Acquisition & Deployment - Assist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. - Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. Operational Management - Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. - Analysis and development, implementation, modification and installation of ERP and other systems - Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide improvement direction of system utilization. - Works with other staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. - Perform data analysis, report writing in the tool EAE uses globally. - Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems. - Help desk management and some support - Perform network administration duties Work Conditions - Daily assistant monitoring and support for IT Infrastructure, diagnose and resolve technical issues, including DC ,Virtual machine server, storage and backup servers and so on. - To maintain some information management systems, along with their affiliated hardware, software and databases in local plant. - To follow up Corp. IT policy and region IT standard of project construction. Position Requirements: College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration and 6 years related work experience. Knowledge & Experience - Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. - Working technical knowledge of programming languages. - Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems. - Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. - Extensive experience with core software applications, including ERP, Salesforce etc. - Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. - Experience in data visualization and report writing - Experience in QAD will be a plus - Perform network administration duties Personal Attributes - Good project management skills. - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English & Mandarin. - Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. - Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required. - Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. - Highly self-motivated and directed. - Keen attention to detail. - Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Strong customer service orientation. - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
