Requirements: - University Degree, Technical education background (Major in mechanical engineering, can read drawings) - Knowledge in the field of heat treatment/induction hardening of advantage. - Knowledge about supplier development/supplier quality/audit systems (preferred: ISO:IATF16949) - Knowledge about production planning/logistics/supply chain management. - Experience in automotive industry, in Supply Chain Area/Purchasing for min. 5 years - ERP experience, preferred in SAP (best as key user), Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI) - Experience with ISO/TS16949 system and internal/external audits - Leadership experience - Fluent in English
Responsibilities: 1. Supply Chain Strategy Planning - Process Owner of process group, Manage Supply Chain for MPCC Sinter - Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support the company's long-term objectives and business needs. - Regularly assess supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Monitor supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. - Monitoring of defined KPIs and PIs related to SCM, implementation of improvement actions in case of deviations - Promote sustainable procurement and operational practices to reduce environmental impact.
2. Procurement and Supplier Management - Strategic Purchasing for the following items in MPCC Sinter: o Toolings o Outside Service - Product Development: o Support Solution Team in respect to purchased items (investigation & analysis of suppliers, RFQs, negotiations, supplier selection) - Supplier Assessment & Development in SOP Phase
- Definition and Implementation of relevant measures to guarantee and improve supplier performance (cost, quality, time), including supplier audits and delivery data analysis - Lead a cross-functional team for supplier development, cooperate with the relevant functions (quality, operations, solution team) - Supplier and Contract Management
3. Logistics and Transportation Management - Plan and manage the logistics network, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. - Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency. - Manage inventory levels to ensure supply chain flexibility and responsiveness. - Implement effective inventory management systems to reduce the risk of overstock and stockouts. - Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.
4. SCM operations Management - Oversee the execution of daily supply chain operations to ensure smooth processes. - Coordination between SCM and production planning - Guarantee reasonable use of SAP system in SCM area, coordinate improvements of system with IT and other sites - Foster Lean Management within the supply chain area - Other tasks assigned by supervisor
