- Join each engineering build to work together on any process issue analysis and corrections. - Process development and finalize for mass production. Ensure the implementation of requirements from drawings, tests, qualification plans. - Work with suppliers on tooling/process/ equipment/fixture setup for each build. - Work with the engineering team through NPI and provide technical feedback. - Component level DfX analysis through NPI phases - Review sustaining production processes and fixtures - Advanced process development to improve the cycle time, yield and delivery. - Component Production Readiness Verification: Audit whether materials are qualified, supplier production process is ready to support mass production. - Supplier Audit: Per GSM request, audit new suppliers or new products. Submit audit report. - Supplier management: Work with Supplier SQE and SPAN Factory QE, manage and assess supplier’s quality performance; - Criteria clarification: Correlate the inspection criteria between factory IQC and component supplier OQC/FQC; - Drive quality issue at supplier side: On-site troubleshooting with supplier, fix quality issue. - Engineering Change Support: Re design change and process change during mass production, to drive the execution at supplier side, make sure the changes are correctly executed.
