Description You will be responsible for developing new products, owning the compressor structure design and components qualification, and delivering optimized design with the best cost, robust reliability, and user-friendly manufacturing to meet customer’s requirements.
Responsibilities *Create sophisticated new designs and products to meet specified program scope requirements and manufacturability. *Research and monitor the potential product trends value, optimize cost and system performance. *Calculate and analysis the new product development according to Load / Force / Component strength factors etc *Customize the layout and tooling to meet the “Design for customers and design for manufacturing” concept. *Work with manufacturing engineers for risk identification and mitigation by adopting the PFEMA tool (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis). Identify new design potential risks by following the DFMEA (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) process. *Interact closely with other functions to ensure the project checklist and project guidelines have been followed and meet project schedule breakthroughs. *Document and file the technical & Project Learning records. *Maintain product after launched and support continuous improvements.
Requirements *Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering and other related areas *3 years (Bachelor’s degree) or 1 year (Master Science) working experience on mechanical engineering design, including basic static/dynamic analysis, calculation on material strength, and components design optimization, etc. *Experience on compressor design is preferred. *Proven technical knowledge and skills on mechanical design. *Strong background knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus. *Familiar with GD&T *Good communication skills of both verbal and written English
