Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job:
61 Executes part of the invoice processing activities
61 Provides reliable, timely and complete invoice processing, as well as archiving and documentation work as required for effective accounting and internal control
61 Supports in implementing improvements and corporate guidelines

Responsibilities:
61 Executes all invoice processing activities
o Handles incoming invoices (soft copies)
o Performs invoice receipt, and verifies correct booking information in invoice processing system versus on invoice and versus in master data
o Handles workflow, including verification of authorization
o Is first line contact with internal departments (e.g., purchasing, logistics, accounting and control) and external vendors
o Prepare payment proposal and support in payment execution
61 Provides reliable, timely and complete invoice processing
o Is responsible for specific own part of incoming invoices
o Continuously pursues empty to low workflow to avoid bottle necks at invoice processing
o Assists others in emptying workflow whenever possible
o Makes correction bookings in SAP if necessary
o Clears suspense accounts
61 Supports in implementing improvements and corporate guidelines
o Actively supports efficiency projects, e.g., by applying Lean Six Sigma improvement methodology
o Aims to learn from other Invoice Processing employees, or teach others, to harmonise processes and improve overall performance
o Works if needed with the internal departments to improve their part in the Purchase to Pay process

61 Education and Experience (Functional Technical Capabilities):
o Practical education in Accounting
o Good knowledge of accounting in ERP systems, preferably SAP
o At least 3-4 years of relevant working experience
o Experienced in using Microsoft Office
o Local language and English (reasonable)
o Japanese language skill
