Duty and responsibilities:
1. Supervise ME team for project support on mechanical engineering issues; Train sub-ordinates on mechanical engineering work.
2. Review and Prepare mechanical support to Production and Manufacturing Engineering.
3. Work with Design to provide mechanical design service to customer.
4. Support RFQ on mechanical parts and tooling.
5. Conduct DFM and DFA on drawings for mechanical custom parts.
6. Review customer engineering documents on mechanical dimension.
7. Follow up with supplier on the development of mechanical custom parts.
8. Follow up with supplier on the fabrication of the tooling, perform tooling qualification and support tooling maintenance.
9. Support packing design and perform drop test reliability with QA.
10. Support the qualification of the new mechanical suppliers.
Competencies and experiences requirement:
1. U-graduate in Mechanical Engineering;
2. 1-2 years of management experience of a mechanical team is preferred.
3. 2-years experience in plastic and metal part tooling design.
4. Previous mechanical design and packing design experience are preferred.
5. Experience in AutoCAD and Pro/E design software.
6. Have the knowledge of TS16949, SPC, ISO9000.
7. Good in English speaking and writing.
