Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee the electrical and mechanical assembly operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical assembly processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring efficient production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
80Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members engaged in electrical and mechanical assembly.
80Ensure production schedules are met, maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
80Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal staffing levels and workflow.
80Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance skills and productivity.
80Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
80Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions, working closely with sales and engineering teams.
80Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
80Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, inventory levels, and downtime.
80Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
80Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
80Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
80Proven experience of 8-10 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in electrical and mechanical assembly.
80Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly processes, techniques, and best practices.
80Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
80Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
80Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
80Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
80English language skills required to communicate with Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
80Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
80Certification in production or manufacturing management.
Working Conditions:
80This position may require standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing environment.
80Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production targets.
