Job Duties: 61 Lead and support quoting activities for new business opportunities (e.g. Inverters, DCDC Converters, On-board Chargers…) 61 Interface with customer technical personnel contacts 61 Analyze customer requirements and distribute specific requirements to appropriate competencies 61 Create and manage mechanizations and block diagrams 61 Assist with product concepts and provide direction to senior designers 61 Manage requirements compliance and checklist documentation 61 Create customer technical review presentations as needed 61 Assist EE/ME with Bill of Materials for various power electronic products 61 Estimate engineering related project development costs such as people, capital, and expenses 61 Cooperate with purchasing department to reduce BOM cost 61 Support various leadership communication meetings and documents 61 Collect information from quotation and analyze market trend 61 Incorporate lessons learned into next quotation
Requirements: 61 Bachelor of Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field 61 5 – 10 years’ Field Experience (Preferred) 61 > 3 years’ Experience Working on Power Electronics Products (Preferred) 61 Knowledge of microcontroller mechanization on Aurix microcontrollers (Preferred) 61 Knowledge of electric and hybrid electric vehicle drive systems and applications 61 Knowledge of key concepts of power electronics operation for hybrid and/or electric vehicles 61 Familiarity with Functional Safety and Cyber Security concepts 61 Familiarity with high voltage power semiconductor device technology such as Silicon IGBT, SiC MOSFETs 61 Must be confident and composed in front of the customer 61 Must be capable of at least 25% Domestic and International travel without Visa limitations
