Responsibilities:
1. To manage material function in a cost efficient and effective manner through SAP
2. Hires material functional staff to achieve site and department targets
3. Facilitates training and development of material management personnel. Enforces PC&L procedures and instructions.
4. Provides leadership and guidance to team. Handles personnel problems in conjunction with Human Resources.
5. Ensures that departmental budgets are met.
6. Responsible of Health, Safety and Environment procedure compliance related to PC&L.
7. Develop and optimize the procedures of material ordering, production planning, material receiving, storing, packing and shipment
8. Ensure that all materials for production can be ordered in time based on schedule commitments61 Monitor inventory accuracy
9. Develop/Update/Track all activities within material management department for all new production launch activities
10. Set up/Monitor procedures to ensure accurate, daily communication with other functions
11. Develop annual cost reduction and inventory reduction targets
12. Monitor freight cost and optimize logistic service
13. Management of third-party freight forwarding
14. Good experience at SAP (WM/MM/PP/ etc.) and good logic at MRP
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree, major in automobile, logistics supply chain, international trade, etc.
2. At least 5 years supply chain experience in automotive production and manufacturing industry and at least 3 years management experience in it;
3. Experience in electronic manufacturing process is preferred, especially in electronic parts industry;
4. English in written and oral, German is preferred;
