The (Senior) Sales Engineer is to manage all sales activities in assigned customers including maintaining and developing existing business and identifying and acquiring new business/customers to achieve sales objectives and goals through both revenue & profit.
Principal Accountabilities/Main Functions
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
1) Understand and execute the short-term to long-term sales strategy, to achieve the business goals & objectives.
2) Execute and implement the annual sales plan based on coach and guidance.
3) Follow-up and execute the annual customer plan for assigned customers.
4) Keep good communication with internal departments.
5) Ensure 100% compliance.
2. Key Account Management:
1) Understand and follow-up relevant customer strategy for assigned key accounts based on the guideline and coach.
2) Update the sales pipeline in CRM system timely.
3) Generate customer visit report timely by using CRM tool and provide feedback about key customer intelligence.
4) Follow-up the customer-centricity account plan to develop new business.
5) Deal with complaints as interface between internal stakeholders from function teams and external stakeholders (key customers, value chain partners, association, downstream players), feedback the solutions to assigned customer on complains and inquiries timely.
3. Business Development:
1) Build-up business acumen and market intelligence to identify and analyze potential business growth opportunities, understand competitive factors to support the business growth.
2) Understand the unmet needs of assigned customers, transfer the potential needs to Marketing and Product Management team to develop new products based on the coach and guidance.
3) Support market research including supply chain tracking, competitor information update and analysis, identify sales/market potential and cooperate with internal team (e.g. such as marketing, distributor team, etc.) to support further business growth and achieve sales targets.
4) Other assigned related tasks and projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree or above in chemical, business, economics, Science and Engineering or similar.
2. Sales experience in Chemical / Electronics related industry will be preferred.
3. Good capability to communicate, cooperate and influence across teams and functions .
4. Good skills in stakeholder and customer management.
5. Good learning ability and agility.
6. Good sense for problem solving, can identify the problems and analyze the root reason based on the coach and guidance.
7. Strong willingness to grow and step out of comfortable zone with own initiatives.
8. Strong willingness and ownership to achieve business growth and goals & objectives.
9. Good capability to work well under pressure.
10. Highly self-motivating, open minded and diligent attitude.
11. Workable English communication skill in written and reading, good oral English skill is a plus.
12. Business travel is needed, should be flexible to travel frequently.
