Job Responsibilities 1.Be part of progressive, diverse and intercultural Global purchasing team where we’re committed to lead and transform purchasing and supplier markets, driving financial performance and supplier resilience, pioneering sustainability, innovation and digitalization. 2.Drive an impact by developing sourcing strategies of tail-end management partnering with Global Category teams. 3.Handle internal communication with peers and key stakeholders about the approaches and methods for problem solving and case updating. Proven capabilities to tackle with cross-functional topics and lead the solution proposing. 4.Contribute to deliveries of tail-end procurement results by strategic execution, managing assigned spend and projects internally and externally 5.Capable of prioritization at work amid time zone management. 6.Formulate negotiation strategies and drive negotiations of commercial agreements across global supplier base. Identify and capture strategic sourcing opportunities to deliver sustainable saving results and pipelines.
Job Qualification 1. More than 5 years working experience in Chemical material purchasing; 2. Good commercial sense such as balancing price, quality and delivery, good and quick adaptability to various commercial circumstances; 3. Skilled English ability, German as a plus. Ability to work in a multi-lingual environment, spanning different countries and cultures; 4. Be familiar with related laws and regulations of hazardous chemicals, precursor chemicals, hazardous waste disposal, special equipment and maintenance. 5.Risk mitigation awareness and approaches to design/drive countermeasures respectively. 6.Ensure suppliers compliance with internal regulations including but not limited in Supplier code of conduct (CoC). Excellent understanding of Market, Industry, and value chain. Actively share knowhow and best practices across the organization. 7. Actively drive sustainability transformation by scouting and executing strategic projects with suppliers.
