Roles & Responsibilities: 1. To work in partnership with the Team Leader to strategize and execute academic timetables, guaranteeing conflict-free schedules for students and staff, as well as the optimal use of campus resources. 2. To effectively operate the timetable software (Syllabus Plus) and its affiliated web system, ensuring the collection of timetabling data from academic departments, accurate and timely publication of timetables to all students and staff, and providing support for students to make changes to their optional modules and class timetables through the online platform (Timetable Plus). 3. To collaborate effectively with departmental timetabling officers in order to gather timetable requirements and feedback, ensuring strict adherence to timetable policies and promptly reporting any exceptions. address and report any deviations. In alignment with the strategic development goals of the TAICANG campus, taking into account the unique timetabling demands and departmental idiosyncrasies, promptly communication with the departments, facilitating an ongoing dialogue and constructive feedback loop concerning the orchestration of class timetables. 4. To work closely with EQA colleagues and oversee the management of program and module-related data in the student information system (SITS), ensuring that the student module enrollment data aligns accurately with the program-module structures. 6. To effectively coordinate the preparation and synchronization of timetabling data among various systems, including SITS, Syllabus Plus, Timetable Plus, and other relevant university systems. Close collaboration with colleagues from other stakeholders is crucial, particularly when working closely with colleagues from the Management Information Technology and System office (MITS) and the Academic Affairs and Systems Office. 7. To address inquiries from students and staff regarding module registration and class schedules. 8. To complete other work tasks assigned by the team leader and HoDs accurately and in a timely manner. Qualifications: Essential: - Bachelor's degree, with 3 years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree; - Bilingual (English and Chinese) with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages; - Experience in data management, data analysis, and data processing; - Proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of formulas, functions, PivotTables, VBA, report design, etc. Desirable: - Proficient skills in Python are also preferred; - Experience working in an educational environment; - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and a diverse range of individuals; - Proactive and reflective, with the ability to identify business work processes and strong insight abilities.
