Tasks and Responsibilities:
Work on customer and internal projects in accordance with the valid organizational instructions and local/global standards
1. Application Engineering.
a. Check and evaluate RFQ and customer specifications.
b. Responsible for concept design by taking into account costs, quality and manufacturing feasibility.
c. Provide design proposal input for cost calculation.
d. Technical communication with customer R&D dept.
e. Preparing & filing of technical documents.
f. Supervision of CAD design work.
g. Confirmation of technical release by customer, internal release.
2. Internal coordination of projects during development phase.
a. Create 3D & drawing orders, supervise 3D & drawing creation.
b. Create prototype orders, collect prototype quotation, supervise the prototype making.
c. DV plan creation and DV test supervision.
3. Support on technical sales.
a. Prepare technical material for customer meetings.
b. Participation in customer visits.
4.Other tasks: patent review; benchmark report; customer tech-day, public exhibition, training etc.
Qualifications:
1. Completed Bachelor; mechanical engineer with knowledge and development experience on auto parts, like cross car beam, front end module, frunk or trunk, cam cover, oil pan etc.
2.At least 5 years development experience of dealing with project related to auto structural part (Cross car beam, front end module, frunk or trunk, cam cover, oil pan etc.）for OEMs or tiers, familiar with PA & PP material etc. and plastic injection molding process is preferred.
3.Experienced of GD&T, CATIA/UG, MS office
4. Fluent English is preferred
