New Product Development 61 Identify, recommend and drive new product development opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, business unit strategy and financial analysis. 61 Define innovative product attributes to create product differentiation. Collaborate with other divisions and business units to create solutions that leverage other Knowles products to solve customer problems. 61 Collaborate with target customers to share product and technology roadmaps and ensure consistency between internal development plans and customer needs. 61 Develop and execute launch plans for new product introductions. 61 Develop and manage specific product families in support of market segment strategies. Portfolio Management 61 Manage the life-cycle of the product portfolio and individual product families from introduction and growth to end-of-life. 61 Support demand forecasting and inventory planning based on inputs from Sales. Market Knowledge / Experience 61 Experience in sales, FAE or marketing/product management, strategic business planning, and new product development; 61 Intimate knowledge of semiconductor/ODM including familiarity with relevant key customers in Ear industry. 61 Proven success in marketing, new product definition, and product & technology management. 61 Proven experience working with customers on design, business strategy, and product roadmaps. Experience: Possess at least 5-10 years of demonstrated success in the consumer electronic industry. Candidates should have a strong technical background with proven experience in technologies designed into Ear industry, interfacing with R & D, Operations, sales, marketing and experience leading a team of product and application professionals such as managing full lifecycle and concept to mass launch. The candidate must demonstrate good business sense, critical thinking skills, outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to succeed. Education: Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or other technical. MBA is a strong plus.
