The Job: As a Reliability Engineer, you’ll be part of our Engineering team working as a on-site employee. You’ll get to: 61 Developing and implementing methods for evaluating product or component reliability (predicting product performance and identifying the key factors or elements that limit reliability) 61 Analyzes preliminary engineering-design concepts of major product, recommend design or test methods for attaining customer-specified operational reliability, using knowledge of reliability engineering and other technologies. 61 Testing, Measuring, tracking, evaluating, and publishing reliability performance requirement (internal and external) throughout product life cycle (design, manufacture, and service). 61 Present high level reliability status reports at regular meetings (i.e. Global Engineering Teams, etc.) and implement corrective action through the Milestone process. 61 Create and maintain a FRACAS (Failure Reporting And Corrective Action System) and root cause failure analysis program. 61 Monitors failure data generated by customer using product to ascertain potential requirement for product improvement. You also have: 61 Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electronic and Information Engineering/ Electronic Engineering, Electrical & Communications or Information Engineering, or other appropriate technical discipline. 61 3~6 years related job experience in reliability or components engineering in product testing and supplier quality verification, preferably in power tools industry or household electrical appliances. 61 Must have thorough knowledge of one or more quality and reliability tools, techniques, and methods (e.g., 6 sigma, DMAIC, FMEA, Weibull analysis, Reliability analysis, Reliability Test Plans, FRACAS). 61 Must have good oral and written communication skills (including public presentation skills). 61 Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
