该职位主要负责牛津大学高等研究院（苏州）IT 运维管理，包括但不限于桌面日常维护、机房设施设备维护、展厅设施维护、会议设施维护、门禁监控系统维护、应用系统及软件维护、网络安全管理、信息安全和数据安全管理、IT风险管控及合规审查、预算管理、固定资产管理及备品备件管理、IT施工及系统改造监管等。
Daily IT management for the Oxford Suzhou Centre for Advanced Research (OSCAR), including but not limited to IT service and facilities maintenance for desktop, server room, exhibition hall, video and audio conference, CCTV management, application system and software management, network safety management, information and security management, data safety management, risk assessment and management, IT compliance management，budget control, fixed asset and spare parts management, IT related construction and system modification management, document management and so on.
职责描述：
1. 日常桌面运维，包括但不限于办公电脑和实验室电脑软硬件维护（系统安装与升级、常用软件安装、硬件检修等）、电话系统和打印系统的日常维护等。
2. 机房设施设备的运维，包括但不限于日常巡检、机房环境维护、网络通讯和网络安全设备管理，存储设备管控、UPS设备管理、门禁及监控主机维护、实验室相关服务器及网络设施管理等。
3. 展厅设施维护，包括但不限于电脑主机、显示屏、投影机、音响系统等音视频设备的管理。
4. 会议设施维护，包括但不限于会议电脑、音视频采集和处理设备、会议软件、音响系统等的管理。
5. 门禁监控系统维护，包括但不限于门禁和监控系统的软硬件管理，权限管控等。
6. 应用系统及软件维护，包括但不限于OA系统、财务和人事系统、网站及微信小程序等的管理。
7. 网络安全管理，包括但不限于网络安全架构的搭建及调整、网络监控、网络安全事件处置等。
8. 信息安全和数据安全管理，包括但不限于信息和数据的全流程监管（分类管理、权限管理、存储和备份管理、数据的销毁等）。
9. IT风险管控及合规审查，包括但不限于风险评估、风险管控、合规性评估和审查等。
10. IT预算管控，包括但不限于年度预算的制定、预算的管控等。
11. IT固定资产和备品备件管理，包括但不限于固定资产维护、固定资产盘点、备品备件的采购和库存管理等。
12. IT施工及系统改造的监管，包括但不限于弱电工程装修及改造（弱电系统的设计、施工过程监管、工程验收等）。
13. 文档管理，包括但不限于IT相关政策规定的起草和修订、系统操作说明的撰写、系统配置文件的记录、培训资料的更新等。
Responsibilities:
1. Establish a physical acoustics research lab equipped to address problems in industrial and biomedical ultrasonics, with specific emphasis on acoustic cavitation and its application to drug or gene delivery and/or sonochemistry.
2. Develop research questions within a specific context, conduct individual research, analysing detailed and complex qualitative and/or quantitative data from a variety of sources, and generate original ideas by building on existing concepts.
3. Develop, establish, and pursue appropriate analytical protocols and techniques to support research.
4. Collaborate in the preparation of scientific reports and journal articles. Present papers at national conferences, and lead seminars to disseminate research findings.
5. Use scientific equipment in a laboratory environment.
6. Assist with supervision of research assistants where appropriate.
7. Contribute to the day-to-day running of an experimental laboratory.
8. Carry out collaborative projects with colleagues in partner institutions, and research groups.
Additional duties (Senior Research Scientist):
1. Agree clear task objectives, organise, and delegate work to other members of the team and coach other members of the group on specialist methodologies or procedures.
2. Raise research funds through grant applications, and manage own area of a larger research budget.
3. Share responsibility for shaping the research group’s plans and the writing of group-funding applications for new research projects.
4. Liaise with funding bodies and provide information to project stakeholders and represent the research group at external meetings/seminars, either with other members of the team or alone.

Essential:
1. Hold a relevant Ph.D/D.Phil (or near completion) (with post-qualification research experience for Senior Research Scientist);
2. High degree of competence in experimental work;
3. Good oral and written communication and presentation skills;
4. Possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research projects and methodologies;
5. Strong evidence of research achievement to date, as might be demonstrated by a good publication record and/or academic distinctions and conference prizes;
6. The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas: physical acoustics, sonochemistry, photoacoustics, laser ultrasonics, HIFU, and acoustic cavitation.
Desirable:
1. Expertise in biomedical ultrasound imaging technologies and methodologies;
2. Expertise in biomedical ultrasound therapy technologies and methodologies;
3. Expertise in sonochemistry and analytical chemistry;
4. Experience with laser optics, optical detectors, and physical optics instrumentation;
5. Experience working with biological samples and tissue phantoms;
6. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of researchers with a variety of both physical and life sciences backgrounds;
7. Prior experience of instrument interfacing and control and data processing, ideally using Matlab;
8. High degree of competence in experimental work involving acoustic measurements, including experience in the generation and measurement of ultrasound waves and the use of ultrasound imaging instrumentation;
9. Experience of supervising staff (Senior Research Scientist);
10. Experience of managing a research budget (Senior Research Scientist);
11. Experience of preparing successful grant applications (Senior Research Scientist).
