GlobTek is headquartered in the USA and maintains sales, R&D, manufacturing, and distribution in 7 countries throughout the USA, Europe, and Asia.

We are looking for a Jr. Director of Global Engineering, based in China, to support operations worldwide.

This position will report, at ***, to our Director of Global Engineering in Germany, as well as our COO in the USA. Advancement is expected.

While based in China, this position will need to support and maintain direct contact with:
●our salsmen and reps throughout Europe, the USA, and Asia
●our customers all over the world
●our R&D and Engineering teams in China, the USA, and the Philippines
●our manufacturing and operations teams in Suzhou, China

Besides a background in power supply engineering, the successful candidate must have strong project management skills. Experience in NPI is preferred.

This position is based in China, ideally at our Suzhou facility, however hybrid work-from-home/work-in-office arrangements can be considered.


Requirements:
●7+ years relevant experience in power supply and battery pack engineering
●BSEE (MSEE preferred) in relevant field
●Good English, both oral and written (and confidence in speaking) is a must.
● Excellent project management skill


Job Responsibilities：

●Project management of Suzhou-based R&D team.
●Assisting sales staff to work directly with customers world-wide to propose and promote GlobTek's technical solutions
●Supporting Global Engineering Director and top sales & technical teams in developing product roadmaps
●Supporting Suzhou-based factory in NPI, and in analyzing and solving technical and relevant quality issues
●Follow up the tool vendors selection, cost review and tool fabrication schedule
●BOM cost review and follow up DTC ( design to cost ) activities
●Milestone documentation and results review and approval process with customers
●PPAP documentation and data review and coordinating with customers for approval process
●Follow up and take responsibility for special tasks on request
