KEY RESEARCH AREA OF HEXIE MANAGEMENT RESEARCH HeXie Academy has conducted large-scale research by applying the HeXie Management Theory, in three interdisciplinary research fields that combines from Digital & Intelligent Ecosystem Research, Future Social Life and Governance Innovation Research to Research on Sustainable Development. 61 Digital & Intelligent Ecosystem Research based on the HeXie Management Theory. Focus on the ecosystem of industrial innovation, ecosystem organizations - strategy - leadership - governance, HeXie education and integration between industry and education (Syntegrative Education), industrial internet and digital transformation, digital entrepreneurship and innovation, big data-driven decision-making and financial markets, business succession and innovation, and intelligent strategic human resources etc. 61 Future Social Life and Governance Innovation Research based on the HeXie Management Theory. Focus on modern Chinese governance, elderly care services, healthcare data studio, age-friendly technology innovation, innovation in care and wellness services, digital creativity, social governance and future communities in digital & intelligent era, smart cities and urban regeneration, social innovation, public charity and common prosperity research topics. 61 Research on Sustainable Development inspired by the HeXie Management Theory. Focus on the carbon neutrality, ESG (environment, society & governance) strategic transformation, carbon market, energy transition, new energy industry, environmental protection, sustainable development strategy, green supply chain management, and mechanism for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature etc. JOB DESCRIPTION The role of Academic Support Officer is to support the Head and academic staff in all the academic-related activities. Supporting school and university level events/activities/committee services under the arrangement of Line Manager. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate a positive attitude, a high level of reliability and professionalism, strong communication and organizational skills, and must be willing to work flexibly. 61 Organizing and providing support for meetings, including creating agendas, preparing documents, taking minutes, and following up on action items. 61 Assisting with the examination and assessment processes throughout the academic year, in collaboration with the Registry staff. This includes coordinating moderation, producing necessary documents, organizing exam boards, and archiving exam papers. 61 Supporting for academic quality assurance process, such as assisting with new programme and module validation, programme and module change process, professional accreditation, Annual Programme Review, Internal Periodical Review, and Degree Awarding Power application. 61 Assisting with research-related activities, such as answering enquiries related to various research funds, handling applications for Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant/part-time teacher positions, coordinating projects for the Summer UG Research Fund, and managing arrangements for Summer schools and international conferences. 61 Supporting on event organization, such as field trip, exhibition, site visit, guest lecture, research seminar. 61 Providing logistical support for teaching activities, such as managing additional enrolments on Learning Mall Online, assisting academic staff with notifications of temporary class changes, and aiding in the organization of FYP/Dissertation projects as requested by the coordinator. 61 Being prepared to support other team members as needed. 61 Fulfilling any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 1. Master Degree or above. Major in management or related social science field is preferred. 2. Good communication skills and presentation skills. 3. Candidates with experience with the related community of industry, association, government, and educational institution community or in cross-cultural institutions or Industries with project in family business governance and succession, asset and wealth management, digital transformation, innovation ecosystem and eco-management are preferred. 4. Good at verbal and written in both Chinese and English. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS 1.
