Reporting to the Automation Manager, the Automation Engineer-Software role involves… What a typical day looks like: 61 Lead and coordinate each BU to implement Suzhou site automation projects and track progress. 61 Responsible for non-standard and standard automation design, develop, and implement software solutions, create robust and efficient software platform. 61 Automation project management(opportunity capture/feasibility evaluation/ risk assessment/ proposal review/ specification define/ machine buy-off). 61 Collaborate with cross functional BU and sister site production team and outside vendors to ensure successful integration. 61 Collaborate with each BU to develop universal AI inspection platform for PCBA and Box build inspection. 61 Good automation projects inhouse duplicate and sister site yokoten The experience we’re looking to add to our team: 61 Bachelor for Software engineering or related field, at least 5years relevant work experience. 61 Proficient in at least one programming language such as C#, LabView, or Python. 61 Proven experience in developing software for nonstandard or customized automation projects. 61 Expertise in integrating software with diverse hardware components and systems, familiar with communication protocols. 61 Understand common power components, micro-controller and the use of servo motor, I/O interface, driver, etc. and high reliability requirement, writing of the ***-machine interface. 61 Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to unique challenges. 61 Rich non-standard automation software design experience of electronic manufacturing factory, for example: glue dispensing, screw fastening, labeling, testing, packing, load/unload and integration automation line.
