Job Responsibility: 1.Packaging Development The job holder is responsible for the independent planning and development of innovative and sustainable packaging for the international tesa Industry assortment. Focus is on the launch of new products for which packaging needs to be developed in coordination with internal business partners in agreed quality and time; 2.Sustainable Packaging Solutions The job holder is responsible for planning, developing and implementing sustainable packaging concepts for the region Greater China. Corporate tesa sustainability strategy 2030 drives this important task and contains specific pack-aging targets. The job holder is part of a global packaging sustainability team that works on a global scale and is led by Packaging Development tesa HQ. The target is to transfer existing concepts to more sustainable packaging solutions successfully; 3.Continuous Optimization of existing packaging concepts The job holder is responsible for the continuous optimization of existing pack-aging with special regards to quality, profitability and customer requirements. Technical support in the event of malfunctions in packaging processes ensuring the process ability of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging; 4.Documentation The job holder is responsible for maintaining packaging related master data and packaging item specifications in existing the ERP system. Part of the ERP system is the Packaging Cockpit for which the job holder is local key user (LKU) supported by HQ for technical optimizations.
Job Requirements: 1.At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of packaging technology; 2.Experienced knowledge about characteristics of packaging technologies, materials and packing processes; 3.Strong knowledge of packaging types made by fibers or plastics; 4.Interdisciplinary skills that encompass production, marketing, material management, purchasing and logistics; 5.Pro-active approach; 6.Excellent communication skills; 7.Good project management skills; 8.Fluent English.
