Role overview The Academy Technical Manager’s mainly tasks will assist Associate Dean of Al Creation Excellence Centre (ACE Centre) to develop AI Café infrastructure building and AI workshop operating, mainly responsible for supporting the technical sectors and the impact of Academy. The role holder will be mutually managed by Associate Dean of ACE Centre, Academy of Artificial Intelligence.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement operational plans of AI Café and Experience Center, and AI Workshop (Intelligent production line); 2. Organize regular seminars, talks, competitions, activities, demo shows with AI Café partner; 3. Lead a team to operate, maintain and manage the production equipment, mainly involving MES system operation, processing center, industrial robots, assembly line, WMS system, logistics robot, three-dimensional warehouse, 3D printer, etc.; 4. Provide regular technical supports to Smart manufacture training and practice of the Academy; 5. Work with industry and community partners to develop and support AI products PoC project related services for industry and community sectors at the Academy; 6. Plan and manage the student practical projects, activities and events for AI practice; 7. Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned by Associate Dean of ACE Centre.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree or above in smart manufacture or related field; 2. Three years of working experience in smart manufacture product development; 3. Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines; 4. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and innovative; 5. Customer-oriented, results-driven and problem-solving skills; 6. Outgoing individual, excellent interpersonal and networking skills; 7. Chinese and English, both written and spoken; 8. Able to work as a strong team leader; 9. Excellent attention to details; Calm under pressure; 10. Able to work occasionally on evenings/weekends for special events or projects.
