Job Description 1.Analyze more complex product specifications, parts drawings, and other engineering data to develop new pilot production processes, estimate time and cost for each step; 2.Analyze existing production processes and develop recommendations for changes to working methods or operation sequences that will improve product quality or feasibility of new product development by leading local and international projects; 3.Lead complex, large, difficult and/or controversial pilot engineering pro-jects and develop innovative approaches to production problems; ensure that schedules, costs and tesa’s standards of quality are met; 4.Evaluate and recommend investments in equipment, systems, or other assests that will improve tesa’s production capabilities; 5.Devising research and process methods; 6.Setting-up lab and pilot equipment; 7.Calculating and analyzing test results and preparing detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions for improvement; 8.Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct one or more research projects and monitor the performance of these projects to ensure targets are met; 9.Being a project leader to ensure good project management of all technical aspects allowing timescales to be set and progress to be monitored closely.
Job Requirement 1.Master degree in Material Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or other relevant fields with more than 1-3 years or bachelor degree with over 3 years job experience are preferred; 2.Job experience in related industries, PSA tape process, water borne adhesive polymerization and process know -how or other relevant materials science background are preferred; 3.Excellent work attitude and being open minded - appropriate leadership skills, especially giving and receiving feedback - appropriate management skills (target setting, delegation, monitoring, evaluation, feedback) - very good analytical skill to question validity of test results - independent and very good hands-on attitude - very good execution, result and quality orientated work process, priority setting; 4.Good statistical analysis skill, good project management skill; 5.Good writing and speaking English; 6.Willingness to business travel.
