DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1 User Support · Coordinate and provide day-to-day software, hardware and system support to all associates. · Perform diagnostic, root-cause and trend analysis on problem management · Implement IT back-up with Corporate IT team. · Perform daily operation, system check and server administration · Provide installation, trouble shooting, training and problem solving for computer hardware, peripherals, software, and network equipment · Implement effective processes for all other Service Desk functions including service interruption notification; user satisfaction surveys, etc. · Perform routine hardware and software maintenance and assist in proper upkeep and utilization of systems. · Support department goals as required for the planning and implementation of strategies which guarantee user satisfaction, system availability, service levels, and support of the performance criteria. 2 Data Security · Implement database patch, security enhancement for standard compliance · Perform computer operation support including data backup and IT facilities administration. · Monitor the installation of the software in company owned IT equipment is authorized and with valid licenses. · Monitor the usage of company provided IT equipment is within the normal business clause with reasonable care. 3 System and Network · To assist IT Engineer in providing network and server support. · Perform system and network support, troubleshooting, backup and regular maintenance and upgrades for our China offices · Coordinate with the IT Engineer for the installation of new software and hardware to support business growth. · Follow and execute the security policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS · At least 5 years working experience in desktop support service, system administration and configuration. · Associate degree or above in related disciplines. · Knowledge of principles and practices of personal computers and information technology. · Ability to communicate technical information effectively. · Good command of English. · Work independently, good interpersonal skills & able to work under pressure; · Able to meet tight schedule. · 24 hours on-call support when necessary, and will be required to work in irregular hours to perform system set up, support and maintenance duties.
