Description We are looking for a competent Regulatory Affairs Specialist to develop our regulatory collaboration with our partners and suppliers in China. The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in China and be familiar with European regulations on packaging, plastic polymers and chemical substances. For this position, which requires negotiating and teaching skills, Chinese must be the native language, and the level of English must be advanced. Responsibilities 84 Dialogue with our partners and suppliers to help them understand and produce the regulatory documents required for other regions of the world, in particular the European Union and the United States. 84 Direct support to our partners and suppliers in preparing the regulatory documents, including monitoring analytical test by external laboratories in China. 84 Performing quality control checks for regulatory documents which will be used as a bases to inform our customers. 84 Translate necessary documents from Chinese to English or the other way round. 84 Monitor regulations in China and compare obligations and procedures with requirements in the European Union. 84 Manage projects by specific products or product portfolio. 84 Coordinates with the rules, standards and planning of the regulatory team. 84 Reports and organises according to the instructions of the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs. Required qualifications 89 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the Life Sciences and Chemistry fields. 89 At least 5 years’ experience in regulatory affairs. 89 Mandarin as a native language and an advanced level in English. Other essential skills 89 Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an aptitude for negotiation and teaching. 89 Understanding of the European Union regulations on packaging, chemical substances and cosmetic products. 89 Working knowledge of industry legislation and best practices. 89 Document management. 89 Project management. 89 Attention to detail. 89 Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc) and Acrobat applications.
