The Senior Demand Analyst position is responsible for China region to implement, run and facilitate end to end process of demand planning process.
This includes demand verification, production strategy optimization and inventory management as well as EOL/EOP management where decisions have to be based on data.
The Demand Analyst is responsible for Product lines in support of China Auto BU within Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) area.
Key Tasks: 61 Review and analyze the forecast demand versus actual demand, understanding changes, trends and communicate to the key stakeholders with data analysis. 61 Communicating with CSR to determine their needs to balance plant production strategy. 61 Guide cross-functional team in SCM area to understand how demand fluctuation impacts Inventory & Production control, make sure execution happens according to alignment plan. 61 Implement the control process to guarantee execution of the local plants according to plan and drive implementation of mitigation plans in case of deviation. 61 Assist in the resolution of key supply-demand/service-cost issues and establish plan to remove bottlenecks. 61 Get involved in production planning process and create steps for standard operating cadence. 61 Design and manage key planning elements, include but not limited to MRP group, safety stock. 61 Drive continuous improvement process to the overall planning process. 61 Monitor potential EOL/EOP and act in time.
What your background should look like: 61 Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in similar position 61 Knowledge of SAP (ECC, S/4 HANA) and IBP Response is an advantage 61 Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau is a plus 61 Strong communication skills (oral and written) 61 Strong analytical ability to mine data and derive critical information from varied inputs 61 Has clear vision and demonstrates the ability to learn, develop and deploy new ideas
