Our new Technical Solution Engineer/Manager will join our growing Smart Manufacturing Solutions team located in China. You will be part of our Industry 4.0 Solutions Department that collaborates with other SMS departments and K&S Business Units. You will be part of a highly skilled and motivated team and will be encouraged to take on the responsibility of a broad range of tasks. Although our products and solutions are complex you will be personally influencing the end delivery to customers. Within K&S you will be working in an informal atmosphere, solving challenging projects and developing personal growth. 1, Understand semiconductor packaging factory production workflow, quality control, data management, I4.0 related practice. 2, Get familiar with K&S equipment SW and SFA solutions. Accumulate bonding process knowledge. 3, Understand content of equipment RPM signals (BB), APD (WB), and related process indicators. 4, Become familiar with K&S smart manufacturing SFA offering, SW (KNeXt), data analytics tools. 5, Spend days/weeks at target customer factory as needed. Document customer production needs, introduce new product solutions, support feature trials. 6, Provide consulting services to optimize customer production and support sales activities. 7, Work closely with SW team on data collection, feature testing; provide support for issues & questions. 8, Document customer needs and pain-points. 9, Work with engineering team to write high level requirement spec, using PRFAQ (Press Release Frequently Asked Questions) template. Join project/feature reviews and discussions as feature champion. 10,Define use cases, present/explain to PRFAQ review panel, and follow up to clarify/verify customer requirement related questions. 11, Provide timely support during feature development: explain customer practice, answer open questions, verify feature functionality, provide feedback for feature release document. Write and conduct training for customer users. 12,Provide post release validation document on the usage of feature and customer feedback. 13,Support other SMS BU initiatives with customer info collection, field support, solution trials.
Requirements: 1, Education: Bachelors in Data Science, Mechatronic or equivalent Engineering minimum, Master or advanced degree a plus 2, Factory IoT background preferred, familiar with integrated factory data systems 3, 3+ years of experience in R&D or Product Engineering, Semiconductor equipment experience preferred 4, IoT/OT factory data integration 5, On Edge/Cloud computing 6, Domain knowledge: in workflow, equipment fleet management, systems integration, data analytics to improve production KPIs. 7, Support pre- and post-sales efforts for: Industry 4.0 software solutions, integrated factory systems, and smart factory automation (SFA) 8, Customer service: with emphasis on customer production use cases collection, process control knowledge, SW solution introduction/recommendation, system integration including factory automation, data management requirement collection. 9, Customer data, use cases collection for roadmap development. 10, Customer production practice, pain points, requirement continuous collection. 11, Conduct SMS product introduction pilot projects 12,Able to understand and apply knowledge to new and unique
