Main responsibilities: 1. New Production Processes: 61 Managing new manufacturing process development, for lean, mistake proofed smooth workflow implementation. Including design, ordering, commissioning, verification, de-bug, and close trial run support (fault analysis). 61 To manage operating & capital expenditure budgets for developing new and supporting existing manufacturing processes, consistent with company strategic and operating business plans (to include benefit / payback analysis). 61 To manage and advise local new product development (through APQP process) especially in regard to manufacturing capability, specifically using such tools as Design for Assembly (DFA), Value Engineering (VA-VE) and risk reduction PFMEA / poke yoke techniques. 61 Managing in-house machining (CNC) programming. 61 Ensuring all processes are suitable in regard to HSE, world class. 2. Process Improvement 61 Improving process and tooling capabilities and efficiencies. 61 To plan and manage manufacturing process improvement projects specifically regarding lean methodologies and ***-pass-yield analysis and quality methodologies to create robust processes. Including data analysis, statistical techniques (SPC, DOE) as well as comprehensive error proofing methods (poke yoke). 3. Technical Support 61 Managing the support of quality, manufacturing and equipment departments in engineering matters for local made product and overseas non-standard product 4. Non-Standard Product 61 Non-std product design, costing and management, process control, test rig maintenance and new line set up 5. Localization project 61 Transfer products and process from Donor sites to China by achieving timely completion, quality, direct labor and financial target (the KPIs). 61 Proceed strategic localization initiatives based on roadmap defined to enforce business competitive. 6. VAVE 61 Lead and work with team to develop VAVE (Value analysis and Value engineering) activity to simplify manufacturing process 7. Maintenance 61 To supervise technical direction for plant engineering and facility maintenance departments. 8. Other: 61 Facilitating the open exchange of knowledge on engineering matters, principles or systems. 61 Training and mentoring of personnel.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. 2. At least 8 years related working experience in engineering function in similar industry. 3. Strong application of automation with successful implementation is must, expertise on MES is desired. 4. Familiar with pneumatic or fluid power products and applications. 5. Strong risk and problem analysis and solving ability. 6. High-level interpersonal communication and people management skills. Proactive, self-motivated, being able to work under pressure. 7. Good computer skills, MS Office proficiency required. 8. Good command of English, both oral and written.
