DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 84 The Project Engineer must be a team player and work with other members of the team to meet all key performance indicators as set out in the management contract. Key responsibilities include: 84 Proposal Raising: Develop and present project proposals, including detailed plans, budgets, and timelines, to stakeholders for approval. 84 Scope Management: Define and manage the project scope, ensuring all project objectives are met and changes are controlled. 84 Construction Management: Oversee the construction phase of projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards, on time, and within budget. 84 Project Delivery: Ensure successful project delivery by coordinating with various teams, managing resources, and mitigating risks. 84 Communication: Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and contractors. 84 Reporting: Excel at creating detailed reports on project progress, financials, and performance metrics. 84 Engineering & Operational Procedures: Establish and implement engineering and operational procedures for site staff. 84 Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of engineering services in accordance with the client’s Management SLA. 84 Energy Management: Implement energy management programs to reduce utility costs. 84 Vendor Management: Manage all contract vendors to carry out technical audits and maintenance as scheduled. 84 Technical Solutions: Provide solutions for technical issues and initiate planning of Critical Environment procedures. 84 Performance Measurement: Develop a system to measure the quality of performance on a quarterly basis. 84 Preventive Management: Initiate and manage a Preventive Management Program. 84 Advisory Services: Provide advisory services during site inspections and project development. 84 Minor Projects: Coordinate minor projects and work with contractors/vendors from initiation to completion. KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES 84 Project Completion: Successful completion of projects within the defined scope, time, and budget. 84 Quality of Work: Adherence to quality standards and specifications in all project deliverables. 84 Client Satisfaction: High levels of client satisfaction with project outcomes and communication. 84 Cost Management: Effective management of project budgets, minimizing cost overruns. 84 Risk Management: Identification and mitigation of project risks to ensure smooth project execution. 84 Reporting Accuracy: Timely and accurate reporting of project progress, financials, and performance metrics. 84 Team Collaboration: Effective collaboration and communication with project teams and stakeholders. 84 Innovation and Improvement: Implementation of innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes. REQUIREMENTS 84 A university degree or professional qualification in engineering or project management, preferably majoring in mechanical/HVAC engineering. 84 Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 84 Strong project management skills. 84 Over 5 years of practical experience in project management, preferably in a factory or commercial building setting. 84 Ability to think laterally and deliver innovative solutions. 84 Strong leadership, people, and communication skills.
