Main Purpose of the Job / 此工作的主要目的: The Engineer Tool Management supports and is responsible for Industrialization and series production phase of the External Tool & Process Management division. He collaborates with key stakeholders, especially external OEM/ODM suppliers. He supports or manage several product development projects of different levels of complexity.
Main Responsibilities /主要职责: 1. Responsible for all topics or issues related to BRITA owned injection molding tools / equipment with local suppliers and OEMs/ODMs. He supports technical readiness of production processes like plastic molding, machining steel parts, electrical systems, etc. 2. Creation of tool specifications, tool documentation and lifetime monitoring for serial tools. 3. Support purchasing and budgeting of series tools in cooperation with the responsible procurement manager. 4. Monitoring schedule and support tool building phase, 5. Support and interact with procurement department, project management department, quality department and R&D department. 6. Review and optimization of manufacturing processes in cooperation with the respective suppliers 7. Initiation and implementation of product changes / optimization. Coordination of production tests / sampling. 8. Act as an interface function between local teams and global teams in headquarter.
Professional experience /工作经验: ?2-3 years of working experience in tool design, mechanical engineering or plastic engineering ?Consolidated knowledge in injection moulding / tooling and/or product development industry (preferably kitchen appliance industry) ?Experience in project management and product development is a plus. ?A good working knowledge of MS applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel, SAP knowledge
Qualifications/Training / 任职资格/培训: ?Technical or bachelor’s degree (or above) in tool design, preferably mechanical engineering, plastic engineering ?Deep knowledge of tool design, plastic moulding, mechanical design and product development. ?Good understanding of technical processes and quality management systems ?Able to speak in English. ?Good communication skills.
