Program Manager Job Summary: The Program Manager, China reports to the Senior Program Manager, who is based in Hudson, Massachusetts, USA, and will lead customer-specific Battery Energy Storage System development programs from requirements definition through launch. This includes customer interface responsibilities for engineering statement of work definition, requirements capture and sign-off, change control management, developing and maintaining timing plans, driving open issues to closure, change management, metrics management, launch support, and customer program meeting support. This individual is responsible for leading all elements of program delivery including internal project management to ensure all design, development, supplier, build, and test milestones are met on time with high quality. Responsibilities: 61Lead multi-functional core teams from concept through commercialization for the execution of NPD engineering projects. 61Develop, communicate, and lead the execution of project management plans, scope, schedules, and budgets. 61Schedule and conduct team meetings and design reviews; manage work plans and communicate tasks and expectations to project team members; capture and drive closure of actions and open issues. 61Develop, reconcile, and maintain project budgets and monthly spending forecasts,identify discrepancies, and lead replanning activity as needed. 61Drive towards rapid identification and resolution of engineering-related performance, project and product cost, project risk, timing, manufacturing, and supply chain-related issues. 61Document and track compliance to requirements along with developing and leading technology solutions to address identified gaps. 61Identify and help to resolve resource allocation issues and priorities to ensure the program is staffed appropriately, completed on time, and within budget constraints. 61Support development and management of Engineering project budget and goals; ensure that product cost targets are met. 61Plans and executes the NPD launch process, managing deliverables, risks, and decisions using a Phase Delivery process. 61Participate and contribute to Program Management Process and Quality Management System. 61Utilize, develop, and improve NPD project methods, process, and toolkits, and acts as an ambassador of the Program Management Process and governance within the organization. 61Adhere to federal and state regulations. 61Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures. 61Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. 61Predictable and reliable attendance. Position Qualifications: 61Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/or mechanical engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines, or equivalent degree. 61Minimum of five (5) years managing industrial capital equipment projects. 61PMP Certification preferred. 61Demonstrated competency in managing complex projects that include a cross function of HW, SW, FW and Compliance dependencies. 61Working knowledge of Project Management software (ex. Microsoft Project, Smart Sheets, and similar.) 61Project experience in large scale grid tie inverters/motor drives and/or utility substation equipment installation is highly desired. 61Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing, dynamic environment and thrive within a matrix organization. 61Customer-facing role requires excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English. 61Must be fluent in English; spoken, written & presentation. 61 Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20%.
